Subscription Model
1.1 Overview
The Rollback Smart Contract System will initially be free for all users for the first month following its launch, allowing full access to all features across all tiers without any cost. After this initial one-month period, a subscription-based model will be introduced to provide sustained access to wallet management and recovery features. Subscriptions are paid in ROLL tokens / ETH, ensuring seamless integration with the system's tokenomics and incentivizing ROLL usage. The model includes tiered plans to cater to individual users, power users, and organizations, with benefits scaling based on the plan level.
1.2 Subscription Tiers
The system offers three subscription tiers, each with distinct features and limits:
1.2.1 Basic Tier
1.2.2 Pro Tier
1.2.3 Enterprise Tier
1.3 Subscription Mechanics
Initial Free Period: For the first month following the system's launch, Rollback will be free for all users, providing full access to all features across all tiers (Basic, Pro, and Enterprise) without any cost. During this period, gas fee subsidies are limited to 50% of the tier's standard cap (e.g., 0.002ETH for Basic, 0.005 ETH for Pro, no cap for Enterprise).
Payment: After the initial free month, subscriptions are paid monthly in ETH tokens via a smart contract to the system's treasury.
Renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew after the free period unless canceled, with a 7-day grace period for late payments.
Upgrades/Downgrades: Users can upgrade or downgrade tiers at any time, with prorated adjustments for the current billing cycle. Users selecting a tier during the free period will transition to their chosen tier's subscription cost post-free period.
1.4 Revenue Allocation
Subscription revenue is allocated as follows:
50% - System Operations: Covers Automation fees, gas costs, and infrastructure maintenance.
30% - Liquidity Pool & Holder: Reinvested into the ROLL liquidity pool to ensure market stability and shared among token holders
15% - Team and Development: Funds ongoing development, audits, and team compensation.
5% - Governance Rewards: Distributed to active governance participants (e.g., voters, proposal initiators).
1.5 Benefits of Subscription Model
Scalability: Tiered plans accommodate users with varying needs, from individuals to enterprises.
Sustainability: Subscription revenue ensures continuous funding for services and system maintenance.
Incentivization: 50% Revenues generated would be shared across Active users of Rollback
Flexibility: Users can adjust plans based on their needs, with clear benefits for higher tiers and a risk-free initial period.
